LEFTY opened on Corso Pestalozzi in May 2025 with one idea and no hedging: proper smash burgers. Beef pressed hard on the flat-top until it crusts, a soft potato bun, grilled onion, pickles and the house-made Lefty secret sauce. The whole menu fits on one red card — that's the point.

From the street it's a plain doorway. Inside it's a small modern diner — tiled walls, red steel shelving, a neon sign in the window and old-school hip-hop on the speakers. Lugano regulars treat it like a secret they're not sure they should share.

4.8 on Google across 200-plus reviews — and the fries have a fan club of their own.
